About

Michael Sundell
Certified Hypnotherapist (IACT), NLP Practitioner & Changework Coach

I help people move through anxiety, burnout, self-doubt, and patterns that have not responded to willpower alone — including performance anxiety, phobias, and persistent pain that hasn't responded to conventional approaches.

I bring more than three decades of experience as a professional orchestral musician and educator to this work. As a member of the Orchestre symphonique de Montréal and a professor at the Conservatoire de musique de Montréal, I understand firsthand the pressures of performance, perfectionism, identity, and high achievement — not as concepts, but as things I have lived inside for most of my career.

My approach is collaborative, respectful, and tailored to the individual. Rather than treating difficult patterns as flaws, I help clients work with the protective responses operating beneath conscious awareness, so that change happens with the system rather than against it.

I integrate hypnosis with memory reconsolidation, parts work, somatic awareness, Clean Language, Focusing, NLP, and solution-focused changework.

Clients often describe my presence as calm, perceptive, and non-judgmental. My goal is to help the conscious and unconscious mind work together so change feels less like a struggle and more like a genuine internal shift.
